Ever caught yourself playing an online game thinking, "Wait a second... am I playing a human or a sneaky engine?" - Yeah, me too...

And honestly - do these people think I’m that stupid?! Do they think I won’t notice their sudden transformation from 600-rated blunder machine to Stockfish-level genius?!

Please, give me a break.

Yes, chess is hard, and losing is absolutely painful. If you follow tennis, you’ve probably heard losing players yell, "Why am I playing this stupid game?!". And let me tell you - if chess players had the chance to talk during a game, we would scream at the top of our lungs, "WHY, GOD, WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS F**ING GAME?!".

Yes, it’s painful, but losing is an essential part of the game.

Some people just can’t resist the dark side. They’d rather let an engine do the work than actually play the game. But why do they cheat?

Here’s my take:

Rating Addicts – They want that shiny number so bad they’d sell their soul (or at least their dignity) to Stockfish.

Crybaby Losers – Instead of learning from their mistakes, they’d rather hit the ‘cheat’ button and pretend they’re Hikaru.

Trolls Who Need a Hobby – Their idea of fun is ruining someone else’s day. Pathetic.

Excuse Makers – “Oh, I was just testing it out.” Sure, buddy. And I “accidentally” pre-move a brilliant queen sacrifice.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST - WHY DO MY STUDENTS CHEAT AGAINST ME SPECIFICALLY IN EVERY OTHER WEEKLY BLITZ RAFFLE??! - ...to impress me with their stunning improvement...🙄🙄🙄 REALLY?!

I mean, come on. I smell this shit a mile away. A 500/1000/1500 rated online player can not start showing the maturity of the game and moves of a master overnight. Miracles like that do not exist.

Report & Move On – Chess.com, Lichess, and others will catch them. And when they do, justice is served. Delicious.
Laugh It Off – If someone needs a bot to beat you, congrats! You’re officially too good for them to handle.
Get Stronger – The best revenge? Grinding, improving, and crushing fools legitimately. While they’re stuck cheating, you’re actually getting better.
